Rebecca K Jones is an illustrator and comic artist / writer based in London.
She studied Drawing at University of the Arts London. She later completed an MA in Illustration at Falmouth university in 2012. She has taken part in 24 hour comic events and has self-published her own zines, Cat Disco parts 1 & 2, and 'Let's Go Home'. In 2015, her short story, 'Lazy Sunday' was shortlisted for the Observer / Cape / Comica Graphic Short Story Prize. Her comics have been published in Tiny Pencil, Dirty Rotten Comics and the Corbyn Comic Book (Self Made Hero) She is currently working on a Graphic Novel titled 'Boomerang', which is a semi-autobiographical story about youth unemployment and the 'Boomerang generation'. It was shortlisted for the Laydeez Do Comics Prize which was for an unpublished graphic novel in-progress. Her single page comic, 'Silent Disco' was highly commended in the 2014 Cheltenham illustration awards. She has worked on illustration commissions for The Cat, Porthmeor Studios and Cultshare. she has also taken part in live illustration for a Merton Council event.
